We have a real, genocidal war in our continent. 2,6 millions of Ukrainians are facing hunger.
The EU is not the World police: let the Arab brotherly countries deal with the problem in the middle east, since that is not our problem.
We need to stay focussed on our continent, on Ukraine.

I get that the EU isnt doing everything it can to shun Israel, which is bad.
At the same time, only one party can directly force Israel to a halt.
Israel is a US proxy, the US can stop Israel any time it wants by withholding support and stopping arms deliveries.
Why is the European Commisisoner for Clean, Just and Competitive Transition, an economic portfolio, constantly commenting on a war in the Middle East? What does this have to do with her job?

How long until the mods run in and delete this thread, and why is it that all Israel/Palestine threads (as in those about European politicians weighing in etc) are so swiftly deleted when there is nothing in the rules section about it being a banned topic?

Honestly, its getting hard to care about what’s happening in the Middle East. We have a plenty of our problems already.
How is it that all the r/europe threats on this topic are overrun by hardcore radicals who are cheering on a genozid? I really hope this is all just bots and Isreali propaganda. Thinking that these could all be actual fellow European citizen living among us with such a disregard for human live, dignity and rights….its a scary thought.
EU just realizes that diplomacy is basically a dick measuring contest – the one who has the biggest army dictates the rules. International law does not exist when the enforcer is committing an agression.
We can’t do anything about it because Israel which has a very scary army and is supported by another very scary army (the US).
Palestinian are like the Armenians, they get dealt a shit geopolitical situation, where no one has any interest to help them.
Neighbouring countries still remember the different invasion of Israel and how bad it has ended.
They don’t want refugee because they remember the assassination of Jordan king and the destabilisation attent by radicals.
Palestinian don’t have any ressources, money, that would force the EU to act further that thoughts and prayer.
They just have the moral right to be supported..
