I live near Malaga now and this gives me unbridled joy every single time. That and seeing them burnt to a crisp.

To be fair, it’s a pain for any Brits who voted to remain within the EU. I’ve no sympathy for anyone who voted leave however, they ultimately got what they voted for.

I love mocking (simple Nelson from Simpsons “Haha!”) them as I pass. Especially the missus with her crumby British passport. Haha.

I’d love to ask people who voted for Brexit if their lives are any better now than they were 5 years ago. And what the hell they were thinking trusting Boris Johnson and ~~russian bots~~ social media ads.

Wasn’t much better in Portugal and Spain this year for me. I’m not sure if they’ve changed systems or what but the queueing took ages.

Funny enough this year I have travelled to Germany, France and Italy. I have been keeping my eye out for the brits and long waits but alas both lines seem to be moving at same pace. Eu usually a bit longer but faster and non eu/ all passports a little smaller and slower

I once had the pleasure of watching an older British couple get in the wrong queue at schiphol airport. Some nice Arab looking feller heard their accent and said politely that they might be in the wrong queue. To which the couple snapped back saying “no we are in the correct line” loud enough for security in the box to hear and give a look. Well low and behold when they got to that self check bit where you put your passport in it didn’t work. The couple was not happy and complained to which security informed them that they are no longer part of the EU and must use the other really fucking long line. When the couple complained that the UK is still in europe the lovely Dutch security lady said “well you voted for it”
The entire EU queue started laughing. Well not out loud but we all had a nice giggle in our heads and we all looked around at each other thinking the same thing.

I was in Malaga recently and the UK /rest of world queue actually ended up faster – they only had one desk working for EU and 6-7 for the UK ones so the queue went way faster! I saying that though they seem to be about to roll out lots of the automated passport scan machines which will probably be in our favour

not specifically Malaga, but my experience of EU airports is that half the time it’s the opposite (massive queue of EU passport holders while misc others breeze through), and a lot of the time you end up having to go through a second check because we’re non-Schengen.
