      They described the legal action taken against Mr Lawrence as “frivolous” and “vexatious”. They said he had been exposed to substantial cost implications as well as several years of media scrutiny and **”sensationalist tabloid publications, undermining his good standing and character”**.

      He is a scumbag like his scumbag mate.

      Trying to make out he has good standing and character just makes this solictor look like a shower of ambulance chasing idiots

      Plus we all know this is McGregor paying for his scumbag mate to go after the poor lady

      I wonder who is paying his legal fees _this_ time?

      Because if it’s McGregor again, then this amounts to yet another attempt by Hand’s rapist to put her through the ordeal and cost of legal action. Lawrence has nothing to lose.

      McGreggor stated in a court of law that he was paying for James’ legal costs for the case.

      He was found not guilty by a jury and the judge didn’t award any cost to James because, again, Mcgreggor was bank rolling him.

      Can only repeat what I said in the previous, closed thread: that at this stage, I presume the intent is to simply drain the woman’s bank account. The law favours the rich, and all anyone has to do is outstay a poorer person’s ability to pay their legal fees. Nikita Hand is a legend, but I do suspect she’ll find herself in financial bother before McGregor finally disappears back into the primordial ooze (aka America).

      She only sued him because he said he had sex with her. She said she didn’t and didn’t have any recollection of it. Therefore it was rape. He put himself in that position.
      He can ask his ma for another lend of 50 euro

      I can’t find any details of what James Lawrence works as. Does anyone know how he will pay for such a legal action?

      But they took the case against him? If they believed he was lying and also don’t believe there was any sex/rape involving him, why did they sue him for rape?
