Typical Reform they’re more interested in the grift than in actually being good constituency MPs. Yet people still see them as serious politicians. They’re all a bunch of chancers.
A reform sheep – “Ah but we like them so this is fine. No issue here”.
Nigel Mirage: always vanishing when it comes to real policies and work, always reappearing when there’s a camera
🤷♂️ Corbyn is a multimillionaire. Christ you act like they’re not all getting money (unions donors etc) or insider privileges to make them very rich over their relative wage. Expenses alone is a fraud on massive scale.
Come back when they’re not all at it.
We dont want successful business entrepreneurs to govern our country?
This is such a dumb take.
Hey, remember when starmer got gifts and the country fell into crisis?
I wonder if the right wing press will be concerned when it’s reform.
I’m done. I’ve had enough people on here telling me I am wrong, and that Reform will save us from ourselves like Farage is the second coming of Christ (third if they are counting Trump).
I don’t care anymore, I can afford private healthcare, I already have a house, and a reasonable paid job.
Everyone clearly wants a world where the few rich stay rich, and the poor go back to slave work on a farm. This is what they want, then fine, knock yourselves out…
In fact I might just join Reform, so instead of being upset that you lot are starving on the streets, I can cheer myself up by spending your money, and you’ll thank me for it
The old migrant grift pays off well, one wonders if they’re actually behind the small boats themselves
I’m not generally in favour of very strict “MPs shouldn’t have any outside income” rules, but there needs to be some level of restriction. I definitely don’t think it should be allowed for them to be directors of companies while still an MP. I’d also be tempted to say that any income above the level of an MPs salary¹ goes into a trust which is paid when they leave parliament and taxed as capital gains at that point (since they get a form of parachute payment anyway).
¹by which I mean they could earn the same again as their salary, so if the salary is 90k then they can earn 90k in outside earnings without it being garnished
This is partly the reason I’ve no problem with MPs being paid a bit more and restricted on their extra-curricular activities.
We really need to stop MPs being the part time job you do to help you coin it in with your main one.
Seeing them climb up in the opinion polls, the UK deserves them. I’ll be divesting from the Uk before they get in. They just aren’t serious people
