“A car drove through a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Lausanne on Saturday. The motives are still unclear, according to the municipal police. Between 1,500 and 2,000 people took part in the demonstration.
The gathering began around 5 p.m. on Place de la Riponne. It continued until early evening in Montbenon. As it passed through Chauderon, a motorist drove through the seated crowd gathered in the middle of the crossroads, observing a minute’s silence, without stopping.
Videos show the grey BMW speeding down Avenue de Beaulieu in the wrong direction, honking its horn. When it reached the protesters, the driver first slowed down before accelerating again and weaving through the crowd, then continuing on its way over the Chauderon bridge.”
I imagine, denying holocaust, “we owe mustache man apology”, desecrating graves of Jewish holocaust victims, isolating jewish students that have no relation to Israel, disrupting pride parades – has a consequence.
I support Palestinian cause, I don’t support American status quo “leftist” radicalism.

Road demonstrations often have road rage maniacs. Vucic just pardoned a woman who killed another woman in a protest. Many in Serbia drive into them on purpose. Some experience extreme road rage and know Vucic will pardon them. Some are just idiots. There was a recent accident where a woman drove into a bicycling race crossing multiple barrier and people trying to stop her then straight into one of the biggest talents killing him. You’d think it’s on purpose as the barriers are extremely clear. Yet police claims it was a mistake. Really seems impossible yet how are drivers still stopping on train tracks, panicking, and then not driving anywhere as they are too confused and get hit by the train. You can see a bunch of such videos and clearly that’s not on purpose in those cases. They feel stuck and panic.
From UK we have road rage videos of drivers dragging green earth protestors away. They really don’t care about the protest and just want them gone.
Basically, if you protest on a road you need to constantly be aware of cars.
Tbh looks to me like a insane old man, being annoyed of the blocked road and not like someone trying to kill people.
One can dislike or have distaste for a movement or ideology but it is NEVER ok to plow a vehicle through a group of people. Its disgusting and morally unforgivable. He should be held accountable to the fullest in court for this deadly crime.
On the video you can see that he didn’t even try to speed up and was slowing down in the crowd to let them move apart. Mostly just random pissed driver.
