This is solely because Reform is a cult of personality based around Farage, he would never allow someone who could overshadow him to join the party.

Good. We don’t need yet another party polluted by him

We can file this as the first entry under ‘Reform Party principles’.

Nigel farage wouldn’t allow anyone in who might overshadow him I don’t think. Maybe if they gave him lots and lots of cash.

Given this came out of seemingly no where, no one was suggesting it, and Reform have a track record of saying “we definitely won’t do this” then do it, expect Boris to rock up as Deputy Leader within a year..
That said, Dominic Cummings has been spotted having lunch with high level Reform figures, so maybe not.

Farage (probably).

Why would he care? He grew well and truly fat off his time as PM, has faded into casual right wing toast-buttering and doesn’t need to bother pretending to want to do anything any more.

I will be voting reform but I really wish they would ban anyone who was in government during the Boris wave.

I can’t stop thinking this is the People’s Front Of Judea looking over at the Popular Front of Judea and explaining why they hate them more than the Romans.

Something tells me much of our problems regarding immigration can be attributed to Boris. Record immigration caused by warmongering and inviting lots of international students and their dependents- essentially paying for Mickey mouse courses for visas

It’s funny how Reform have a habit of announcing that they wouldn’t welcome people who clearly wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole.

Reform UK calling Boris ‘one of the worst PMs’ is like the pot telling the kettle it wrecked the kitchen.

Nicest thing I’ve seen said about Boris on this site for a long time.

Remember folks, Reform [deliberately refused to run against Boris](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50377396.amp) specifically because they liked what he was doing.
This is pantomime politics.
