      Mods deleted the last thread on this topic because the crime data paints certain groups in a negative light, and that can’t be allowed. This will likely be deleted too for the same reason.

      The irony in this is incredible.

      Also, IMO this is fantastic proof that one “mission” feminists need to pursue even further is to *get men involved*. Men wouldn’t attack or harass a convoy of feminist demonstrators as easily if it was *defended by men*.

      And men can 100% understand the argument of “if this was my mom/sister/daughter/girlfriend/wife/friend …”. So it IS a concern of men and women alike.

      Anyone who isn’t a criminal, thug or rapist would like safer streets.

      People would also like to pay no taxes, have massive pay rises and world peace.

      The problem is the world is no where near perfect and both men and women face danger on the streets. It really isn’t something that can be solved by having a protest.

      I checked out when on one of their rallys it basicly came down to ‘ the men needs to change, they are the problem’

      You think i’m a problem, than you get angry because i take more distance from women.

      They had lot of people on their protests. That stuff happend and noone did jack shit. But when im alone outside and i see a girl harrased by 3 or more men, i need to step up, and protect her.

      Nope.
      I get shanked or put in jail because The Netherlands favors the agressor. Im good. Good luck to you all.

      I will call the cops. And that is all i do.

      We all know what the problem is, and this country does nothing to adress it.

      Start with the bullshit rule that when i defend myself or others i can get jailed. After that get some decent ruling in place so repeat offenders get locked away for long or thrown out. After that we’ll talk.

      People from cultures that don’t respect women and treat them as objects unless they meet a narrow set of conditions are not just going to change their mentality and behavior after coming to another country, especially if the internal pressure to maintain their worldview (from family, community, religion, upbringing) is stronger than the external pressures.

      This should not have been a revolutionary concept to understand.
