    1. Seems like a clownade to clam down internal turbopatriots. I don’t think Aliyev has the balls to go against Trump.

      It’s like signing a mortgage contract then telling the bank they should really owe you money. It’s a puff of air, inconsequential.

      A not so great author posted a good observation:

      “Making peace also carries the risk for Azerbaijan’s leadership of losing a galvanising cause that has undergirded the government’s legitimacy for three decades: **the need to sublimate all other social and political demands to the struggle with Armenia**.”

      Aliyev does and will do this for his domestic audience to convince them they are still winning. That they still have the power to dictate terms and that we are still their enemy as much as is diplomatically feasible.

      Zartonk Media isn’t a reliable source, as they have a tendency to sensationalize everything they write about to get peoples attention & are quick to jump to conclusions about things. Better off with other news sources like Hetq, Civilnet, and others that use a more neutral tone in their writing style & do a better job reporting.
