For anyone who is unaware, Eurobasket is ongoing featuring the best teams in Europe. The current bracket has Greece and Türkiye matching up in the semi-finals. Both teams have well rounded rosters and are led by NBA stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Alperen Sengun.
On the other side of the bracket, Germany remains the tournament favorite. They will be playing against Luka Doncic and Slovenia tomorrow. Georgia and Finland round out the final two spots after upsetting France and Serbia respectively.
My prediction is Germany vs Greece, but anything is possible.
Every time I hear somebody use Turkiye for real I gag.
Erdogan one day decided that he’s going to request the world to call his country in Turkish and people actually do it.
