Maybe we should look to close some loopholes, lets get some of those avoiders paying what they should.

Yes, the best way to get us out of this hole is to take even more money from working people, with no corresponding improvement in public services or state support.

To be honest, the way that they keep up the whole the rich are paying enough is ridiculous. Rachel Reeves is acting like Ronald Reagan in her mentality that benefits need to be slashed for the benefit of the rich.

The UK’s “No take only throw” attitude to benefits and tax hikes is incredibly unsustainable.

Just stop endlessly giving money to pensioners who never contributed anything.
They are insatiable. Stop trying.

Labour need to have the guts to have the tough conversations, where we’re going isn’t sustainable, we’re spending way beyond our means. If the pensioners won’t listen to reason and give up non-means-tested WFA and the triple lock then Labour can rightfully appeal to those of working age and ask whether we want to mortgage our and our children’s futures in favour of those who’ve experienced a much better standard of living but who want to pull the ladder up after themselves.

Rather than attacking working people let’s have an adult discussion about the cost of our welfare state. Our working population simply can’t sustain it and it’s crazy to think that by taking more money away from working people it won’t impact the broader economy.
Less money in pockets = less spent in the economy = recession.

HHHmmm, so the CEO agenda is higher and higher salaries with no social consciousness or social responsibility. So where do they live again? We are genuinely hitting the point of “have we tried killing all the poor”
Some way of reducing government spending without having to do anything.
