In the village of Wyryki (Lublin Voivodeship), fragments of a drone fell on a residential building, damaging the roof and a car. No one was hurt.

Local residents heard explosives and noticed Polish fighters in the sky.

Services are working on the scene, the damage is being assessed.

Wonder if Putin is ready to defend himself from a barrage of angry Facebook comments. This could get ugly.

    3. DisIsMyName_NotUrs on

Just to note aomething, the drone was shot down by Polish/NATO jets and the debris fell on the house.

      Luckily noone was hurt

Soon, they’ll meet the might of V4!

Edit: Without Slovakia and Hungary due to their leaders both being boot lickers of Putin.

where are the drone fragments? what if someone was living up there..?

    6. AvocadoMaleficent410 on

So huge provocation, immediately publish the max possible concern.

Poland will respond with nothing. Until it will be to late.

The funny ( not really ) thing is, two years ago an Ukranian drone hit Zagreb, Croatia. No one was hurt, and no property damage, but did NATO respond at all, article 4, something?

      Nothing. Nobody gave a fuck.

Fuck Putin, blah blah, just sharing an anecdote.

Can someone say how many kilometres they traveled outside Russian controlled territory? Were they sent from Belarus?

    9. garfield8625 on

Hungarian state funded media (Index) already blaming the Ukranian military for jamming the russian attack and claiming the drones ended up in Poland because of the Ukranian jamming. 10/10….

    10. It’s worth to mention that those were drone fragments that fell on the house after it was shot down by Polish air defense

    11. Rotkiw_Bigtor on

title is misleading. it was the debris from the neutralized drone that damaged a house and not the drone itself.

An act of war? What act of war? In a month there’s a vote in EU on a new law restricting online privacy. Learn the newspeak just like with Russia and Ukraine: “It’s not a violation of airspace just a minor provocation that caused some concern but posed no real threat!” 🕵🏻

The Russians would love it if the West got more involved in the war…

Tbh, I don’t understand why this wouldn’t justify Article 5 action

    15. Dude from Ukraine here, no jokes, just curious.
      Yesterday drones came in pairs.
      Today it’s already 20+.
      Tomorrow it’ll be 200+.
What are you going to do?

I’m not mocking or provoking, I’m genuinely curious what you’re going to do.

If only there was some kind of treaty between EU countries that pools their military might together and could retaliate in situations such as this. Perhaps some kind of trade organisation? A north atlantic one perhaps?

    17. Cherry_Kiss2 on

That’s terrifying… Poland being hit directly is a whole new level of escalation.

EU have to forward confiscated ~190bilion € russian assets to Ukraine defense fund as part of reperations. So it can build and buy weapons for self defense. It should already be done! And also NATO should defense at least 50km of Ukraine teritory from border, which is connected with NATO members, so drones or rockets “unintentionaly” did not reach our land. This is defense, and we dont have to listen to inadequate dictators opinions.

    19. mylittlecrusader on

Why they are still not invoking article 5? It’s clearly an act of war for me.

    20. Whole-Speed-5970 on

let’s fly some drones over Russia and we’re equal….

    21. ProductGuy48 on

The correct response would have been to fire an equivalent number of allied drones or cruise missiles into Russian positions in Ukraine. Tit for tat
