Così ho partecipato di recente a un’intervista per la società chiamata SereAct. Prima dell’intervista ho controllato online e ho trovato a Glassdoor molte recensioni negative. Poi l’intervista è andata come.
L’intervista era programmata alle 17:00. Voglio dire, sono per lo più stanco dell’EOD. Chi organizza l’intervista alle 17:00?
Ho avuto un compito da portare a casa prima di questo round. C’era la differenza di ruolo nel titolo di Take Home Task. Ma dal momento che il compito era semplice non ho chiesto loro di questo diff.
Il giorno dell’intervista, l’intervistatore non mi ha chiesto nulla delle mie specializzazioni, di sfondo, di come il mio profilo si adattava al ruolo piuttosto dritto è saltato nel compito da portare a casa e mi ha fatto domande sull’intelligenza artificiale. Non potevo rispondere ad alcune domande basate sull’intelligenza artificiale. Poi ho iniziato a pensare perché mi viene chiesto completamente di AI quando il ruolo che ho fatto domanda è come ingegnere dei dati. Ho sollevato questo e ho chiesto all’intervistatore che il JD chiede completamente un ingegnere di dati? Perché non ci sono domande sull’ingegneria dei dati. La risposta è stata "Ci sono molti ragazzi intelligenti in giro".
Non ci sono domande su cloud, mlops, controllo della versione, gestione del modello Nulla solo direttamente core AI e ML.
Più tardi ho scoperto che stavano assumendo 2 posizioni e l’intervistatore avrebbe potuto pensare che venga intervistato per l’altro ruolo.
E la parte divertente dopo tutto questa è l’e -mail che ho ricevuto in seguito.
Dovrei dare un feedback positivo per questa esperienza per avere la possibilità di vincere 300Eur. Come si è rotto che si dovrebbe essere quello di farlo 😂😂😂

Reminds me of an interview I had they said the were hiring a IT L2-L3 Support post. – 80% Homeoffice – 45k -80 k (45 being more L1 pay but be it) in Hamburg
Well turned out:
– Homeoffice was possible (but only wednesdays and only upto 4 times a month and only if thursday was was no holiday.)
– they infact wanted an IT fire brigade with Oncall on weekends for at least the 4 weeks where they attended trade shows.
– they wanted an interim head of it.
And yeah when they said 45-80k/year they where more firm on the 45. I told them I was at arround 55 espacially after hearing that they wanted stuff they withheld in the posting (and given the feedback that their budget would not allow for me)
I am almost certain that offering rewards for positive reviews and incentivizing sock puppetry goes against the terms and conditions of any reputable review platform.

New startup trying to break into the field of AI robotics. I’m guessing they’ve heard about vibe coding and think you don’t need to know anything about actual coding in order to code.
