“we’re sorry to share” – what the eff is that? Is that how companies are addressing their customers now?

Check your contact. You’ll probably find that it’s a set term contract and penalty fees apply if you exit before the end of the term.

      No

If you leave your contract early, you pay the break fee of €50 per fuel. The contract is for fixed percentage discount, the rate can vary

If you’re not in contract, you can leave with no penalty.

You’re in a contract and unfortunately it’s baked into the contracts now days that they can increase prices . I’m in the same boat having just signed up at the start of August.

    5. You’ll be charged an exit fee as you’ll presumably still be within your minimum contract period should you change ‘now’. It’s the discount percentage that your contract’s for, not a particular unit fee, so you’ll still get your 10% discount or whatever applied regardless… so no, they’ve not broken their contract with you.

You’ll have to pay to break the contract and tbh once one raises their price theyll all follow, they do this all the time they let the first guy take all the heat and then they all sneak in behind

Screw this we need to start protesting. This is taking the absolute piss now.

We should all just stop paying it.

The guy in comms trying to get the line about the cost of doing business in to show that they are just gangsters.

I guess they are all going to put the prices up. So I’d wait another little while

Yes, you can. Read the small print at the bottom of the email:

“As a result of this price change, you’ve the right to terminate your contract within the next 30 days. Your contract will continue if we don’t hear from you within this period.”

Who is getting a 12% pay rise where these price hikes make sense. It is getting to the point that I only pay bills and nothing else.

Price increases just as it starts to get nippy. *Arseholes*

    15. I mean Energia are also up 10% and 12% in electricity so all of the big companies are doing it. Theres no escape from these increases sadly
