    1. My boss isn’t going to like that. He likes to keep this all private.

    2. I know you copied over the headline from the article but it still seems misleading or at the very least there’s a mismatch between the article title and the contents?

      They state

      > In 2026 moeten alle Europese lidstaten ervoor zorgen dat hun loonbeleid hervormd is. En dat betekent ook dat bedrijven veel transparanter moeten worden over dat loonbeleid.

What does it mean to “have to become much more transparant”? Everyone’s wages in an Excel sheet on the server (this is what’s implied by the title), or just that some document has to exist which outlines base wages, how amounts are added and subtracted for different functions and responsibilities, which can be very vague.

Gelukkig moeten bepaalde ondernemingen nu al sociale balans publiceren. zo heb je een idee hoe goed of slecht bepaalde werknemers betalen.

It won’t tell you a lot. Where I work all roles have a level assigned. For each level, there is a base pay with a given range (80%-120% of the base pay for that level).

So the salary range is known, bit are very wide and overlap. (For example: 110% at level 5 equals 95% at level 6 equals 80% at level 7).

So yes, you have insights in what you or your coworker might earn, but without details it’s still guessing.
