Ehi tutti, sono confuso sull’applicazione di rinnovo della mia carta blu. La carta è stata emessa nel 2024 e scade già nel 05.11.2025 perché anche il mio passaporto scade in quella data. Nelle osservazioni si afferma che il titolo è valido fino al 2028, quindi non sono sicuro di dover passare di nuovo la normale domanda di carte blu nell’ufficio immigrazione o se posso andare a Burgeramt con il mio nuovo passaporto per ottenere una nuova carta blu. Qualche esperienze?

There is an option to transfer your current permit to a new passport and can be done online. The process is much faster and easier compared to starting an application. If I remember correctly, it cost about 90€.
Renew your passport, make an appointment with AB, and apply for new blue card. They just issue a new card right a prolonged date.
Do not apply for a new blue card. Apply for the permit to be transferred to your new passport – this is much quicker. A blue card renewal application will be rejected.
It’s the physical card that is expiring, not the title. Just get a new card.
You should get a new card in Burgeramt.
