It’s just too narrow and the cyclists and joggers are a menace, especially if they come blasting past from behind you. That’s from the Lock towards Newry. I haven’t tried the South direction towards OMeath yet.

Ah sure, it’s Damien himself. Can’t wait to cycle it, Carlingford is a lovely destination.
Sad to see the same knee-jerk reactions from the farmers up there too. Afraid that people might see they do laundry.

Actual awful greenway surface from newry to lough entrance , you can tell where in northern Ireland the budget cuts happened/ awful planning choices and stones as pavement happened that shred bike tryes.
An absolute avoid, if not on, on mountain bike as it’ll destroy road bikes and an absolute stay within Louth where it’s all tarmac greenway.
