“A significant number of the workforce are migrants who face multiple barriers as well as daily abuse, and a lack of opportunities to find alternative employment in safer environments.”

Even if you are very much for taking in refugees and asylum seekers this is the perfect example of why illegal migration does need to be tackled.

They’re being used as unregulated, unprotected labour.

    >The study…found that more than 60 per cent had experienced racial or ethnic abuse, and 55 per cent had suffered physical abuse, largely as a result of incidents while on the road.

    >The two-year study also found that every single one of the 33 women surveyed said they had experienced sexual harassment or abuse while at work.

Many of them are illegals and if not then its not right that such unskilled people can move here.

So do 100% of city centre pedestrians when cyclists and motorised scooters zip past you as they make their deliveries

    From who?

    >In a sector where migrants account for a significant portion of employees

    Oh.

If they’re illegal immigrants they really should be set up somewhere while their case is being met. Unfortunately we don’t have the police man power to give extra protection to them
