      If all elected officials on all levels in the EU forego half of their salary a big chunk of this amount could be easily paid.

      As Ukrainian, I’d say the oligarchs and deputies should give their money. But don’t forget the factor of Ukrainian corruption

      War is expensive, it’s true. EU can pay 60 billion usd. Or EU can pay 1 million or more life’s in future. I think better to pay money. It is less then 1% of EU budget, and it will make main eu enemy to struggle. Each year of Ukraine war adds 2 more years to EU peace.
