It is easier to finish off Europes’ dying industry if we let them. Yeah, they aren’t going to be advocating to keep local industry alive, are they.
I hope China will not “weaponize” its weapons it recently showed off with Xi, Putin and Kim watching in harmony and most cordial and ever lasting “friendship”. There’s no doubt, they play a long game and don’t even bother to hide it anymore.

Maybe China should stop supporting a war against Europe.
Europe should have an equivalent balance with China.
Otherwise, trade is not profitable for Europe and only leads to dependence.
From the words of the Chinese minister, it follows that China is satisfied that China has a huge trade surplus with Europe and does not seek to make trade more fair.
I don’t think Europe should follow Trump and weaponise tariffs. Let Trump be the only one, and everyone else can prosper
China could really capitalise on the EU-US rupture to get closer to the EU. It’s beyond me why they’re choosing Russia over the EU.
Always irked me when people use the violent-sounding term “weaponize” to describe some of the most peaceful tools that nations has access to for exerting leverage. It’s the opposite of weaponizing, it’s trying to *avoid* weaponizing.
I hope we do, China not only has a horrendous track record of how it treats its own people, but has been systematically attacking European industry for the last 3 decades.
The west should be united in trying to drive production home, just because the US went full retard and started attacking it’s allies doesn’t mean we still can’t act as a united front.
Europe should get it shit together and weaponize its big market to force other countries to stop financing the war in Ukraine. Europe bought 560 billion dollars worth of goods from China in 2024, while selling only 220. While China have to diverse its trade due to US tariffs, Europe should threaten that “if you finance Russia’s war against us, then you should divert your trade to another place, maybe Russia”
EU has capability to do this both for India and China. Also force Turkey to take more sharp position against Russia.
Now is a good time to buy gold if you haven’t done so already.
