Cosa devo fare come individuo se l’AFD viene al potere?

Cosa devo fare? Cosa fai? Cosa facciamo?

What should I really do if the AfD comes to power?

At this point they will be democratically and legally elected, so you need to be civil.

You can and should protest the shit out of every stupid thing they do, raise questions to their representatives and force them to admit they have no real solutions to the issues our country faces.

And hopefully by proving they are not better, even worse at politics than the other parties, the next election will see their demise.

History tells us that when they get to power it’s usually too late.

Wait and see, the fact is that they would not be able to do most of the things they want to do. Clear example is Italy, even in the power, the extreme right is opening a new migration program because the economic reality doesn’t let them other option.

Rebuild the Berlin Wall, this time around the Ringbahn. Then secede.

Seriously though, given I have dual citizenship, I would probably think about exploring other options. Where is another question, everywhere seems fucked rn…

You really think you know people? I know
Tons of people in my office in Berlin who voted AFD. And here’s the kicker, our office (who regularly donates to all parties below the publishable threshold besides AFD) boycotted a supplier because they allegedly were AFD supporters .

And my team in finance and HR were complete AFD supporters

I don’t want my family to go into gas chambers, so I will just leave this country.

Act civil and respect the choice of majority of population.

If people would be actually agressive towards all immigrants or specific races/nations, then you will feel it much earlier. It is not like the attitude towards immigrants would just change in one night.

Walk around the city feeling safe. Take the bus. Enjoy good wages, no more waiting for doctors or at offices. That kind of things

You can go back to the shithole you have come from if you have problems with AfD. I wouldn’t stay as a guest in anybody’s house if they are uncomfortable with it and bitch about how they don’t like me being at their home.

You keep living your life and vote against them. If you’re not a citizen of the EU, getting the citizenship is a good idea

They won’t. No one will work with them and all German governments are coalitions. It’s not like the US or UK, where one party rules outright (at least usually in the case of the UK – coalitions are a thing, such as 2010, but not as common.)

The AfD will continue to disrupt and influence the governing parties‘ policy with the more support they get.

I believe they are not getting in power but the current gov is doing anything to give them the power.

    14. The question is whether things will turn out the same way as in Austria, the Netherlands, or Italy, where similar parties came to power, or as in the US?

Basically, it can be said that German democracy is build more stable than that of the US.
