La bandiera laser Kiwi è tornata di nuovo e ha fatto la sua comparsa in un’altra squadra! Questo è Kiwi, un pilota di droni della Nuova Zelanda. La sua squadra difende Pokrovsk. Non hanno acqua corrente dove vivono e vorremmo procurarci dei pacchetti di doccia più dei vestiti termici per il freddo.

It’s been a while since the Laser Kiwi flag made an appearance. This is, IMO, the best flag ever and really should be New Zealand’s flag.

This is Kiwi, a drone pilot from New Zealand and he brought the flag with him. He is on a team that is mixed between Ukrainians and international volunteers. It’s a drone team that defends Pokrovsk. We recently went to see him and brought the team McDonald’s (the greatest thing ever delivered there according to one of them). They have a couple things they could use some help with:

1. Their safe house does not have running water (not an uncommon situation). We would like to get them some shower packs so they can bathe more easily. It’s about $65 for 100 shower packs.

2. Winter is coming, and they could all use warm socks and thermal underwear. These are easily purchased in Ukraine for around $22 for long underwear and $8 for winter socks. We buy these from M-Tac, which is a fantastic Ukrainian brand and gives us 10% off.

*there may be cheaper options for socks/thermal underwear however last year when we gave out many different winter socks, the universal opinion was the M-Tac socks were warmest and had rave reviews. Well worth an extra few dollars.

I wanted to ask, what’s a shower pack?

a package of toiletries (baby wipes, dry shampoo, etc..)?

or

Refillable water bags you can hang to warm up in the sun, with a spigot for the shower head?

Waiting for payday, i am poor and have been helping with meager amounts to  fundraisers. I hope I will be able to go contribute soon.
