CIAO! Ho una domanda sul check -in alcuni articoli come bagagli su un prossimo volo Finnair per l’India. Ho una chitarra in una custodia difficile, un piccolo amplificatore e un grande zaino (ancora nella stessa lunghezza della custodia della chitarra). Ho intenzione di aggrapparsi insieme questi 3 articoli poiché tutti e 3 combinati sono al limite di 23 kg e non voglio pagare 75 euro per ogni articolo da verificare separatamente (anche i loro pesi sono molto meno di 23 kg). Va bene ad aggrapparsi tutti insieme e Finnair lo passa come 1 PC di 23 kg? (In realtà mi era stato chiesto di fare lo stesso da Lufthansa, che avevo portato alcuni anni fa dall’India a Helsinki- volevo solo ricontrollare).

Would cling wrap be able to hold all of them together during cargo handling? Also check the size limit of check-in bag.
Even if they accept it to be “one piece of luggage”, they will probably send you to the oversize luggage counter, where you will have to pay an extra fee for, well, *oversize* luggage.
Also hint: keep your guitar in hand luggage, so that you can make sure it is not handled by luggage handlers. If it is an expensive guitar, you may even want to reserve a separate seat for it.
It’s not just weight but the overall dimensions of the package. For example that bag you linked is 40cm too long. And I would say it’s not very strong quality for transportation. It will just rip.
Most guitar cases are over their size limit. Cling film won’t be strong enough to hold it together properly.
