>Bowler read a statement from Rooney, in which she explained that because of her support for “non-violent anti-war protest” she had been advised that she could “no longer safely enter the UK” without potentially facing arrest
I was unaware hitting police officers with sledgehammers was no longer classed as violence.
Yet another perfect example of someone more concerned about appearing oppressed than actually doing anything productive. Plenty of pro-Palestine charities and groups she could support. Plenty of charities and groups that haven’t attacked people or damaged military property.
Crikey the G&P posters are out in force today. I’m staggered that place still hasn’t been banned
Edit: ah G&P brigading this post lol

Knows support for a proscribed organisation is an arrestable offence, shows said support deploys shocked Pikachu face when reality dawns.

It’s a disgrace! A well respected author, prevented from entering the country all for the simple crime of openly supporting a proscribed terrorist organisation.

It bemused me that so many people want to die on the hill of supporting the violent organisation while pretending it isn’t a violent organisation instead of supporting an actual non violent organisation.
Why is she choosing to donate to Palestine Action instead of one of many other charities and pressure groups? I can think of one main thing that sets them apart: violence.

How have we arrived at a point in time in the UK where a wealthy woman from a safely middle class background is unable to enter our country to virtue signal her support for a violent organization? Where is the outrage on Reddit?

Has anyone noticed that all those far right racists that attended Tommy Robinsons little march acted far worse than Palestine Action, yet they’re not called terrorists? It’s a two tier justice system but it’s working to benefit the far right, it’s not working to hold them down like they love to bang on about.

So is it the case that Britain can now arrest foreign nationals who support outlawed groups if they enter Britain? If so then why isn’t Trump in stocks in the Tower of London?
