Why does he always look like he’s struggling on the toilet in photos?

    2. FlaviousTiberius on

I would take a guess that Trump doesn’t need him as Starmer is being cooperative any way. You don’t need to support the opposition when the incumbent is already giving you what you want. And by the time Farage gets in Trump will have finished his time in office any way so he’s not really much use.

    3. Jaded_Strain_3753 on

If Trump wanted Farage to be there, then Farage would have been there. It’s funny that Farage claims to be his friend, when Trump clearly doesn’t give a shit about him.

    4. Ironically Nigel Farage is an anagram of “Fragile an ego”

They should have told him the banquet was on the 9th green at 9pm.

The driving force behind every political non establishment type is a desire to be part of it and anger that they weren’t let into the club a while back.

I guess Trump didn’t *request* him instead of Sadiq’s never existant place? Funny that.

      >The Reform UK leader blamed Keir Starmer for not getting a seat at the table and whined that the Prime Minister “wants to pretend that I don’t exist”.

I keep trying that, but sadly it doesn’t work.

Like American Congress explained to Farage. His party are insignificant fringe.

The real question is why the hell is Murdoch there?

    11. Prestigious_Spot9635 on

I’m not sure why you guys think trump and farage are aligned or even similar. Trump much prefers starmer

    12. added_value_nachos on

What I don’t get is why he gets so much time in the media.

    13. your-rong on

He’s travelled to America just to be snubbed by Trump before. Don’t get why he’s surprised.

Hey nige. Trump doesn’t want you. We don’t want you. Why don’t you just go play in the middle of the Atlantic?

Here’s a rubber ring and a whistle, good luck.

    15. I was told he avoided his job as an MP for international relations. Seems like he is not well liked.

We need an ambassador who champions Britain abroad, not someone who will lobby for sanctions to be imposed on us.

He always looks like a frog or toad to me. If the leader of the gungans in ohantom menace lost a ton of weight

I’m sure he’d be invited if Putin ever got a state visit.

    19. British_Historian on

Maybe if he paid the £44,000 in taxes the government could have afforded him a seat…

    20. IAmNumberFourI on

Mr Farage said: “I don’t expect anything from this government at all, and you can argue, if you like, it’s the King’s invitation. It’s not really, is it? No, Starmer wants to pretend that I don’t exist.”

Trump doesn’t care about people who can do nothing for him at the moment. Farage came to the US i think a few weeks ago, and began snitching out his own government to Trump! Completely traitorous Farage was dumb enough to think Trump would go along with his plans. He just may be persona non grata to Trump at this point.

Can’t wait for a reform government, the Reform councils have absolutely made railroads in the issues faced…. oh wait. Still destroying my wheels on potholes in my Reform controlled council.

No one wanted that sniveling little runt spoiling the evening. It makes sense

    23. Coffeeaficionado_ on

Child upset that he wasn’t invited to a banquet celebrating another child.

    24. According to some stories, Trump.specified that he did not want Sadiq Khan at the banquet. Presumably, if he had requested Nigel Farage’s attendance then it would have been dutifully fulfilled.

    25. Appropriate-Divide64 on

Snubbed? 😂 Was the leader of the Lib Dems, whoever that is, there?

    27. Sacred_Apollyon on

I do hope this grifting frog roadkill mutant fucks off soon. His numbers are declining, esp with the younger generations who flocked to it as a protest against the established parties both being fetid sacks of shit and not for Reform Uk Ltd actually being a party with any thought, manifesto, decency, normalcy, common-sense or spine. Hopefully he’ll soon revisit his pantomime years of losing to people dressed as dolphins.

And you can guarantee that the second he’s gone the property in Clacton will be sold – it was only ever purchased to try and appease the locals as he’s never there, barely gets involved in actual politics, and doesn’t represent them in the HoC.

      > Asked of he thought there was a chance he could be Ambassador to the US, [after Peter Mandelson was sacked ](https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/breaking-lord-mandelson-sacked-over-35883580)last week, Mr Farage said it “won’t happen”, telling The Sun: “It’s a great shame because the wine cellar is amazing… And also, even if I was offered the job, how could I possibly take it now that I’m leader of Reform.”

How can some people, in good conscience, vote for a guy like this, is beyond me.

    29. Concerned-CitizenUK on

I would imagine that Starmer would feel overshadowed if Nigel attended
