The majority of the laptops donated to us go to drone operators and drone engineers but there are other soldiers in crucial roles who also need support. Ukraine’s military can’t do anything without its administrative staff who process paychecks, coordinate logistics, coordinate healthcare, etc. They’re essential and in general they often have to provide their own devices as Ukraine simply does not have enough.

This is a soldier who works in an administrative role coordinating healthcare for foreign volunteers who are injured in Ukraine. She also helps them with translation or working out issues with contracts, paperwork, etc. Her laptop stopped working and we were able to get her a new one the next day because we had one from a donor who sent it to us.

In general as long as a device can connect online and work, it can help someone in an admin role. It doesn’t have to be brand new. It is most helpful if it’s a small device as it’s easier to transport.
