Il ministro della cultura della Polonia chiede il boicottaggio di Eurovision se partecipa Israele

>Poland’s government has recently become more vocal in its criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza, as reports of a humanitarian crisis in the territory grow.

Not quite “calls for”, just expressed her personal opinion in an interview when asked about it:

“Eurovision is such an event that half of Europe looks forward to, Australia, and surely all Poles. And I really wish it wasn’t an event that… becomes political. I wouldn’t want it to be a political event. However… **I will tell my personal opinion, not as a Minister but as a human. I think we shouldn’t take part in Eurovision if Israel will participate. That’s just my personal opinion. With a very… heavy heart I watch, I observe what happens in that part of the world. It will be… it is a hard time for us**.”

Personally I doubt Poland will go full “we’ll withdraw if Israel is in” like Slovenia, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain did because we have enough of minor conflicts with Israel every now and then, but with the current shift in politics, at least I can hope

She explicitly stated that what she is saying is not in the name of her post but in her personal opinion as a human – but reddit must twist it to a false dishonest and clickbait title.

Shit, when even Poland and the likes of these places does this then something is happening. What next? Hungary, Indian bots and Aipac bootlickers of the US and A starts speaking against the genocide?
