      Which says nothing about how the Parliament will end up due to Britain’s weird district system with winner-takes-all-seats-voting.

    2. Why do people even keep voting for Farage? After the Brexit vote, the guy just walked away for a couple of years and stood by on the sidelines to do absolutely nothing, as if everything had been “fixed”. He’s all talk and no trousers. He literally has no experience in policy making, except for yelling at people taking decisions.

    3. Hopeful_Stay_5276 on

      FPTP means this graph is pretty useless, as does the fact that the next election is 4 years away.

      A seat projection would be more beneficial.

    4. LurkingWeirdo88 on

      Labour while in power should change the electoral system to proportional, that will keep them somewhat relevant and prevent Reform from getting an outright majority.

      Are British envious of Americans wanting their version of the orange turd?

      Jokes aside. What is so appealing in garages message? Is he proposing a Brexit V2? (kick out all those without a cockney accent?)

    6. Didn’t they have centrists in UK? With such simple assigning to left vs right I feel like we try to assign everything to American two-party system. Even in countries with totally different political market.

      Welfare systems can’t co-exist with unlimited immigration. Western Europe is going down so bad.

    8. chodgson625 on

      Yeah the SDP were going to change British politics as well

      (and they were more popular than Farrage’s gang and the two main parties even more loathed than now)

    9. TokyoBaguette on

      People screwed by Brexit want Brexit leadership.

      Black knights all of them “tis but a flesh wound”

      Brexit was a truly dumb decision, but it was after Boris Johnson won his election that i ran out of sympathy for the Brits. If the majority of you are gonna keep making dumb decisions then it really is on you.

      And the fact that Nigel Farage, who started the whole mess, now seems to be headed for the next victory, makes it even more ridiculous.

      My hope is that Starmer will very soon be replaced by some competent labour leadership, who then has the better part of 3 years to make som actual progress, that can convince voters that continuously punching yourself in the dick doesn’t help.

      Really should’ve figured that out already but oh well.

    11. morbihann on

      Jesus Christ, because UKIP was such a success, you are going to go with the same rebranded morons.

    12. kfijatass on

      Voting for the same people that brought them the disaster of brexit, they’re deciding they want more of that. Boggles the mind.

      I am not that knowledgeable about UK politics, but as fas I know the parites in order are:

      * Rightwing populist
      * Kinda dont do anything
      * Actually makes things worse
      * Literally dont do anything
      * the Greens
      * and the statistically irrelevant rest (idk about them)

    14. TheSkyLax on

      Starmer’s Labour is hardly left, centrist at best. Same goes for Libdems even if they are more progressive.

    15. acelgoso on

      Brits vote for brexit, brexit is a disaster, vote for brexit again.

    16. DVMirchev on

      Really qute – voting for the people that screw UK with Brexit … again … like that’s will somehow fix the shit you are in.

    17. indigomm on

      Labour have a reasonably large majority and are leveraging that to implement some unpopular changes, especially around taxes. As would any incoming party. That makes them less popular right now, but as the UK gets towards an election then the ruling party generally implements more popular policies to gain favour. The key will be whether the economy turns around and their policies start to deliver results.

      Conservatives really are in a mess and need to sort out what they stand for. They went through a leadership process and got the wrong person (Truss) who had to be replaced by Sunak. They then did another process to end up with Badenoch. But I don’t think anyone feels she can win an election. She’s just trying to mirror Reform, and not very well.

      Reform are popular in the polls and have a real chance of taking a lot of votes. A lot of people across all parties are frustrated that the established parties don’t seem to be achieving much on the big issues. But they haven’t shown they can govern – they barely run any local councils at the moment.

    18. Luficer_Morning_star on

      If you cannot see why people are voting for reform then it shows you don’t understand the absolute hatred for both major parties.

      A lot of people I know that want to vote for them just want labour and the Tories to lose.

      You can make any argument you want but they have zero trust or faith in the system and would rather see it burn.

      In what world are LibDems left-wing?

      And I’m not asking as one of those “everything right of Mao is fascism” type of guy, I’m pretty right-wing myself.

      after 17 years of right wing incompetency

      they are already ready to go back

      since the usa has such amazing results

      this timeline is exhausting

    21. Hokikunda on

      Farage destroy that country only 10-12 years and ofc those inbreed stupid fucks.

    22. Not convinced Reform will do a good job overall but if it means cracking down on immigration, it just might have to happen.

    23. Grandiskar on

      If you vote for reform you’re just a Turkey voting for Christmas

    24. i-readit2 on

      Woo hoo . Prime minister farage is on its way. Well done you Brits. Just wait until Nigel has you paying insurance for your nhs. And even if you can afford it. All the migrant doctors and nurses have left. And you can all sing rule Britannia on Brighton beach. And eat jelly eels.

    25. TJ_Jonasson on

      It’s interesting that the overall mix is largely half and half left vs. right, but the right side is SIGNIFICANTLY more concentrated. It’s a point Jameela Jamil raised recently in an interview which is that the left is so incredibly fractured and divided because we’re always busy playing the woke Olympics. If we were more willing to unite on the important topics we could make much greater progress compared to the right-swings we are seeing across the globe which are ultimately leading to social and economic regression and, if it isn’t too late already, will take decades to undo.

      Russian propaganda and their billionaire allies who own media outlets are gonna destroy the western liberal dream if you’re not careful.

    27. CutsAPromo on

      Its horrid to think so many people who vote reform just walk among us.  Im well aware not all are monsters or idiots.. but it still gives me the creeps

    28. So which ones are the neonazi fascists? Reform? For us that generally don’t follow UK politics.

    29. It’s crazy how the authoritarianism of Labour and Conservative party have destroyed their parties so quickly. The UK is a borderline Police state due to these parties

    30. PineBNorth85 on

      I don’t get it. The Reform guy did the most damage to everything by pushing Brexit.

    31. CrunchyWeasel on

      What kind of drugs is OP on to qualify the LibDems as leftists? The ultracapitalist party that forged an alliance with the Tories?

    32. jungleboy1234 on

      If the left want to win they need to agree differences and form alliances.

    33. MiguelIstNeugierig on

      Why are brits willing to vote for a weirdo who went “up the RA” online just for some 80 pounds, a man who is willing to celebrate a terrorist group who’s killed British children just to get pocket change

      That’s your PM? That’s your nationalist alternative that will put your country and people first?
