The high street is becoming the ghost street. So many empty shops looking for new tenants.

No surprise, you can just order what you need for cheaper online. Don’t have to deal with parking fees, don’t have to deal with crowds, don’t have to make the effort to go out.

The high street isn’t going to survive in it’s current form and that’s ok, just a change in the way commerce is done.

I feel like I’m going slightly mad here, but I’ve literally never seen nor heard of this shop.

      Yet they had 115 stores?

    4. It was clear something was up several months ago, popped in there and the shelves were effectively bare. There was stock but instead of lots of choice you’d find an entire shelf with just one or two variants of say head & shoulders instead all the different variants. Basically they were spreading out what stock they did have to make the shelves look full.

I imagine it’s difficult competing with the likes of Savers that is owned by same people that own Superdrug (who just so happen to be the world’s largest health and beauty retailer) so probably have more leverage over suppliers.

I’ve never heard of them are they a rehash of the bodyshop?

There’s a lot of competition for that market segment.

Boots, Super drug, Savers and supermarkets would of been their main competitors.

Did they even have a USP? i can’t see one.

    7. Only shop that didn’t ask me multiple questions at the till. It was quick to get in and out too.
