If one seriously thinks about what it really means to be”far-right”, you’d think her language should be stronger than “admits concern”. This is the phrase you’d use when there are reports of a serious traffic accident on the M6

Make no mistake, Labour are *not* doing this to ‘appeal to the right’ or whatever other nonsense they pretend is the reason. They’re doing it because they want to.
We have the numbers and so do they. Pursuing these policies does not gain them voters, it’s the opposite actually.
Labour are heading towards electoral destruction. Either they do not care about staying in power, or they are intentionally trying to engineer a far-right government.
Don’t let the centrists on this sub convince you, there is no real constituency of ‘sensible’ voters who will vote Labour to keep a ‘worse’ option out. That’s not how electoral politics work in reality.
What pisses me off the most about this, is that they only do something when the country starts fighting back. Illegal immigration should be dealt with shiftly, but not cruelly and effeciently. Politicians rarely get praise but Shabana Mahmood has done everything right so far that i have seen.
Her messaging and responses are on point, she knows the direction she wants to travel and seeking to get there.

There is that Far right fear mongering again. We all know there is no such thing as “acceptable right” to anybody that would even use the term far right.
It means nothing as a threat to those that they brand as far right. It’s just a little buzz word they use to signal to those on the left that it’s okay to continue attacking those people that we don’t agree with and “look at me, I’m on the far left with you”.
We’ve started seeing the American buzz word “threat to democracy” coming out now as well. It’s a threat to democracy to vote against them apparently.
Its crazy how fast the publics opinion has hardened on immigration. Went from deporting all foreign criminals too all illegals and quickly to most of the Boris wave.
Labour really needs to stop the small boats and sort the deportion system out before we lurch even further to the right.
I dread to think what will the public will be calling for by the next election if they dont.

If we could lower the cost, refrain from using hotels, and find alternatives that aren’t as costly, perhaps more would be more accepting, but then again, maybe it’s past that point for many.

Good , hopefully Labour will reduce the number of own and open goals they give farage.
