I know people who make posts mocking awful people like Maria Steen are well-intentioned, but I can’t help feel that all they really do is give her free publicity. I had no idea who she was up until 2 weeks ago, and today she features on the most popular post of the day on r/ireland.
The Americans were falling over themselves, mocking Trump all over the Internet, now they can’t escape him even if they wanted.
Just ignore her and all the far right nuts, they have minimal support at the moment.
i am very much not a steen fan but realistically if she started campaigning earlier and actually showed up to more council meetings she would have been able to get on the ballot
