      Union of European Football Associations was pressured by a country that doesn’t have any right to say anything, by default. I’m not arguing if the decision was right or wrong.

      Israel of course ; why are they not affiliated to CAF . I’m not that daft that I don’t know that the US are not a UEFA member state .

      Everyone on the thread talking about Israel and the U.S., but I’m surprised not a lot of people are as concerned with Qatar’s growing quiet influence and chokehold it is gaining and not just in sports anymore. A bit concerning as well that two nations [U.S and Qatar] that are outside of the UEFA have this much power over the board decisions.

      Suspending (or expelling) Israel from UEFA was always going to be complicated at this point, with World Cup qualification underway. UEFA should have acted on this sooner.
      But unlike Russia, the other European countries didn’t immediately refuse to play Israel.

      Everyone should just refuse to play them..and the US , too.

      They’re both complicit in the genocide so both should be ostracised.
