traveled through Aalborg a few yrs ago and it was chill asf. Love the vibe there, underrated imo. Didn’t feel like the usual hustle n bustle of most airports, just real chill and folks were pretty cool.
Billund, the second-largest airport of Denmark, has also been closed because of the drone activity during the night.
We should finally shot down all of these Russian aliens!!!
They are testing our responses to see how we move gear around to counter them.
Our response so far is pathetic. Its in the newspapers constantly that we aren’t doing anything. Basically, just letting them fly and interrupt people’s lives.
It’s insane. I live near a DK airport that has been shut down due to these drones. Shoot them down, ffs. Catch them with a net drone, shoot them with a harpoon, drop a piano on it.
Our anti drone capabilities are a world-class joke.
Russia is testing the entire western world.
Problems with drones in restricted airspaces have been around for a couple of years now. Can someone tell me why the airport authorities haven’t ordered net guns or drone interceptors to deal with this bullshit?
Drone countermeasures are cheap and readily available, but let me guess – Nobody will pocket a huge amount of government money if they buy it from some local company on their own.
It’s not just Russia being pain in the ass. While nothing is done they’re most likely using drones to gather intelligence of military sites in NATO and nothing is done. Moreover Europe now needs to have air defense themselves increasing military spending and having less to provide to Ukraine.
What I’m trying to say is that even if it seems like nothing is happening they’re actually achieving their goals.
Quick, vote the chat control, that will solve it!
There needs to be serious anti drone measures in place at every major airport. There are plenty of bad actors who could use drones to disrupt airports and It’s not particularly challenging for them to do just using consumer drones.
Several London airports had issues with it, so did Dublin. The anti drone systems installed seem to have worked.
Isn’t this what the army is for
