      Pls correct me if I’m wrong here but the article basically only says that there have been no new arms deals since August.

      It doesn’t really say anything about possible future arms deals (or lack thereof) like the headline makes it sound.

      I view anything anti-Israel as misguided as anything anti-Ukraine.

      Why are we supporting a crappy dictatorship that’s friendly to Russia over a democratic country allied with the US?

      In order to be an effective measure they should cut old arm export approvals that are still ongoing.

      I see this as more as “Lets keep some weapons here at home because Russia is getting more stupid by the day” than anything else.
      Russia is pushing it, trying to find the “red line”. It is a dangerous game they are playing. NATO has been way too tolerant of Russia. With the recent Trump comments, I suspect those days are gone.
      Russia will push too far and get wrecked.
