But Trump is not only a native, life-time speaker of English but he was literally running for president. And this is a word most people learn by the time they are four years old, and then proceed to use routinely throughout their life on a weekly or daily basis.
Anyway. Yes, it is entirely possible he had no conception about the nature of this war until something finally broke through to him in the last few days. What that something was, I don’t know, but it is my favorite something.
