So sick of this shit. It’s very clear the government needs to regulate net immigration. Even just for the environment. We moved out of Dublin but it’s following us, trees being ripped up, roads through fields to service new estates
I understand that level of development helps developers, politicians and the GDP but it’s destroying the countryside.
Before we had a property crisis, people used to actually care about the trees and animals in Ireland.
Edit: Some really weird comments and maybe I’m a bit old. I found this really inspiring and considered joining them in the trees (unfortunately was a bit in debt and had to work).
Nowadays people don’t give a fuck about nature. I can understand that as the housing crisis is so bad. The governments only priority seems to be GDP, not children dying of curable diseases, not nature in Ireland but GDP.
