Wealth concentration is as old as time and leads to societal unrest, instability and a reduction of growth or even degrowth. Inheritance generally gives a (smaller and smaller) part of the population an (larger and larger) financial advantage over others, which demotivates workers from actively contributing to society and economy.

A possible solution is to bump the inheritance tax to 80-100%, what that we could abolish income tax completely. This would motivate active contributions to economy, level the playing field and provide more socioeconomic opportunities to more people. Eventually creating a better society for everyone.
