Well it’s in the spam section. I don’t check my spam, i don’t understand how it can be a problem tbh

  2. No, only you. You messed up somewhere by putting your mail address.

I do since I moved to Belgium!
I have an email that I used only to send stuff to Agrément santé and INAMI/RIZIV and that mail has always it spam box filed !
I never used it for anything else…

  4. The thing is those spam are not using legit email to send their spam, so if you block one email address, you’re maybe blocked the next or two (if even that…) email but it’ll change and you will keep receiving them.

It can be annoying if you need to check the spam folder for some legit email that can end in there.

An alternative is to create a new address email that you use only for the important stuff (were you might need to check the spam folder). You might still receive some overtime but if you don’t use the email everywhere it’ll be way easier to handle.

Same thing can happen with phone number btw, beware where you register with it, and it’s a bit more annoying to change.

I get a few of those every day, most of the time they automatically end up in my spam folder. Blocking the sender doesn’t help because they are send from bogus/hacked mail addresses. Some months it is worse, some months it is less. It’s annoying but just takes a few seconds to get rid of every day.

These scams are always so poorly executed. I can’t believe people actually fall for these emails.

Yes. It’s been ongoing for years at this point. I had to create custom filtering rules on common spam words or symbols to automatically put them in the trash which made it manageable. Keep checking from time to time and take a few secs to flag them as spam, in hope spam filters someday improve on this.

I have a couple email addresses I use as a honeypot.

When the spam gets plentiful, it ususally means there’s military activity going on.
Russia sends drones around, spaming intensifies. Coinkydink? I think not.
