      I think it’s down to value. There is no value for tourists here anymore. Be you Irish or coming from abroad, everything, yes everything is too expensive

      Oops we killed off the existing local activities with high insurance, killed off local tourism in many towns by converting the last hotel into a refugee centre, and pushed our prices above all competing countries in Europe for a worse experience. Also tourists don’t like hearing about how tourists get their teeth knocked out every week in Dublin. If only someone could have seen this coming.

      €165 for a bed in a shared room with 5 others on Inis Óirr was way too much for me.
