Of course they can, there’s nearly 4 years to the next election.
News media loves a story though.

> [Reform] don’t want to fix it because if the grievance is fixed then Reform has no reason to exist. So the last thing [Farage] wants is to actually to fix it. And that’s how we have come to this fork in the road
Is he right about this though? Farage came up wanting us to leave the EU, and he managed it. He hasn’t coasted on that, he’s moved on to a new target (asylum seekers). You can keep finding targets to make people hate.

I don’t agree with everything Starmer does but the fact is people left of Labour such as Greens, the new Corbyn party and others must work with Labour to defeat the the fascist threat. That’s how fascists were defeated in WW2 – it was a coalition of democratic capitalists and socialists. Just as in the past, we can argue capitalism versus socialism once again once the fascists have been defeated.

I’d press X to doubt on that notion.
Few governments have ever pissed away limited goodwill and scarce political capital, with such alacrity.

All i want is free education, good healthcare, good road, police stopping going to houses to arrest people for social media posts, cut down of migration, deportation of foreign criminals. Restructure of the asylum process and easier access to housing.
I hate labour but they have made some good trade deals i give them that

Just one more interview with a right-wing newspaper where you agree with their framing on every major issue, that’ll turn things around bro!

its obvious they CAN its almost as obvious they won’t.
Are we meant to believe after a year of small tinkering at the edges of an economy which is impoverishing us that they are suddenly going to take the bold action needed to reverse inequality? After a year of them committing genocide, are we suddenly meant to believe humanitarian gestures in the last years of their government? Are we meant to believe, after they insist on us keeping the undemocratic FPTP system, that they are the shining light of hope for democracy against Reform radicals, that the same system is likely to empower?
They can solve all their issues NOW, but instead, they will try to do so just before the election and will suffer the same fate as the Democrats.

I gave Keir some goodwill when he started the job but it’s all gone now. Making this shift to Digital ID at the behest of his masters during a time where people’s trust in the government is at an all time low (In my lifetime at least) just shows he doesn’t have an ounce of actual leadership.

I don’t think he can he doesn’t have the balls to do what is necessary.

As far as the public are considered, you’ve already failed. Or is your idea of “pull this round” just being able to ignore calls for a general election?

The people want Nigel, he should call a general election immediately. To not do so is unbritish

Keir. People don’t blame Labour. They blame YOU. leave for good, and Labour might stand a chance.

You might want to start by not pissing away any support you have pushing through deeply unpopular policies that no one asked for.
You had the chance to start forcing through actual things people cared about and voted you to do. Not become some authoritarian weirdo who calls people who disagree paedos and is piss weak on an international stage.
Labour are speed running making themselves irrelevant, like the Tories did before them. The major parties havent clocked the rules have changed and the old tactics dont work anymore.
We’re doomed to Farage.

He has some of the worst polling of any European leader ever and he’s trying to push all this – surely it’s political suicide
