What I see on this picture is not genuine concern, but people donning the trappings of virtue like a mask. Their compassion is a performance, meant to be reflected in the eyes of others rather than to ease any suffering. They want to appear on the ‘right side,’ yet never take the slightest risk. From one fashionable conflict they move to the next, collectors of superficial causes without ever understanding anything fundamental about the realities they claim to defend.
Good to see people standing against genocide and ethnic cleansing. Would love to see some more photos. The demo in Berlin was astounding. 🌈👏
