This is a normal flight path for those routes. They’re not going out of their way to avoid Armenia.

What I have seen is that if they come via Black Sea, they avioid Turkey and Armenia and go through Georgia and Azerbaijan. I would assume just cost in that case. However, if they fly over to Turkey, they have the coice eather Armenian airspace or Georgia towards Azerbaijan

Maybe mountains? I don’t know anything but maybe they just try to avoid mountains and keep flying over plain terrain?
