      I suspect that the police hierarchy has a fair few members, and this is altering the way promotions should be working.

      Freemasons are bad for business and only in it for themselves. Luckily there are those of us that actively work against them 🙂

      I work for a private company and I had to declare any conflict of interests including being in clubs and societies like the free masons. The fact that the public sector doesn’t have to do something like that seems insane.

      Would it not be quicker and cheaper to just get those who aren’t Freemasons to declare instead ?

      I guess they’ve got some stonework that needs doing at Scotland Yard and don’t want to fork up normal mason rates

      I mean, I guess as long as other clubs have to be declared, why not? I’ve seen far more nepotism and networking going on at golf and rugby clubs than I have with Freemasons.
