Boosting NATO’s presence close to Denmark sends “a message of assurance and cohesion within the Alliance,” a spokesperson said.
Another NATO vessel has been sent to Denmark as part of the alliance’s efforts to shore up defenses in the Baltic Sea after a spate of drone sightings.
The FGS Hamburg, a German Navy frigate designed for air defense, stopped in Copenhagen on Sunday and will support NATO activity close to Denmark, Commander Arlo Abrahamson, a spokesperson for the Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM), said in a statement shared with Newsweek.

Anyone else think it’s time to go to war? Together we would could do a lot of damage very quickly. (destroy a fleet, encircle a city, blockade them). It’s tiresome. They need to fear us more. They won’t leave us alone otherwise.
