All of Kildare has gotten insanely expensive but places like leixlip are really bad because of the proximity to Dublin. 350k for a 56sqm 1 bed is sad

But it’s got soft close doors!!!!! And insulation in the floors and the walls!!! Peak luxury like.

    5. To be fair it is 66sqm that is huge for 1 bed 1 bath like you are getting 3 bed 3 bath with 110sqm in most places. The price IMO is like 25%-30% too high though IMO. If it was in Dublin I could see it being snapped up in a minute

6250 EUR per square meter. That’s without a mortgage interest

Why is the size not an accurate number instead of a range of 56-66 m² ?

Sq footage looks ok. There’s 2 bed with less space elsewhere

Ive a relative who does conveyancing exclusively.
Apparently a lot of the new development apartment and town houses priced high like this are for specific pharma and tech companies, they bring in employees from other countries, their HR tells them exactly what schemes and benefits they need to avail of and in a single person employed by one of these companies with as little 12k savings for the deposit can get approval for one of them.
But apparently a lot are now backing out particularly in pharma… also the prices are all a mark up by the developers who know which companies employees will be buying them and with the grants etc its really just the government paying the mark up.
