You should rather aim your suspicions towards a more probable culprit, who doesn’t take lightly SA efforts at the Hague in regards to his genocidal actions
If this turns out to be an assassination, I’m leaning towards Israel being the culprit. Russia doesn’t have a reason to go against South Africa, but South Africa has been leading the charge when it comes to UN resolutions condemning Israel’s conduct in Gaza.
This is just speculation, though, so don’t take this too seriously. The article doesn’t say anything how the ambassador died, it could have been a random, lethal medical issue for all we know.
