I ate one yesterday because my colleague Daan was too cheap to buy gebak and brought a bag of “minis”. So this map must be nonsense, clearly.
There are places in the UK it can be seen.

I’ve been to the Provence in France often. At night on the mountains, a full starry sky above. Not a bit of light pollution except for one tiny village quite a distance off. It’s truly a sight to behold. Makes you feel small as fuck. Which is a good thing once in a while i reckon.
