      I wonder what is annoying about Saxon German (Sächsisch)

      And what’s so annoying about Bavarian (Bairisch)?

      Edit: Listened to Sächsisch being spoken on YouTube and it well, sounds rather funny.

      I lived in ST and became accustomed to Sächsisch, but I’m not surprised that most German states hate listening to it. I only spoke in Saxon German in Bern in a skit and people were laughing hard. Guess the Swiss also hate Saxon German as well, ~~but they hate the Thurgau dialect more.~~

      On a related note, WASN DAS FÜRN KOMBI??!!!?111 DAS JEHT AB WIE SOUUUU!!!!

      That’s funny because as a foreigner living in Austria since 2021 I find German German to sound like nails on a chalkboard compared to the Austrian dialects (excluding Voralbergerish).

      Interesting how regional perceptions vary so much. I wonder how much of it comes from media versus personal experience

      Als Steirer gefällt mir der sächsische Dialekt von allen bundesdeutschen Dialekten am besten. 🙂
