They seem to be consistently honing in on Catherine Connolly.There is some fluff about Gavin and Heather “can’t remember if her hubby of 30 years is an orange man” Humphreys. It’s all little snippets saying the same thing in different ways. It is common knowledge that the Indo are no friends of Irish Republicanism. These are some of the headlines

This wont get the same traction as all the nonsense attacking Catherine Connolly. Doesn’t fit their narrative.
her point about rehabilitation is very fair. we cant pretend the prison system exists to rehabilitate if we scrutinise people for hiring ex offenders. i understand why the gardaí refused to allow it but i also understand think it was fine to do.
Is anyone else starting to think this reddit is being brigaded by Connollys election team?

Éamon Ó Cuív was the last decent man in FF. I’d love to have seen him become leader instead of Martin. We’d be living in a very different country today if that happened.
Look if she had been out of prison a while, you’d go ‘yeah she’s see the error of her ways, fine, no problem’. But she can’t have been out of prison very long. And ok, she needs a job when she gets out. But in Leinster House? Not Tesco?
And she was photographed celebrating with members of Eirigi on her release – so how rehabilitated was she? How much regret?
And it was no minor offence – it was weapons possession, outside the house of a weapons dealer.
I think it is crazy to wave this away
