Well said. Not fashionable to agree with what a sitting Taoiseach says but anyway.

Red scare. The commies are coming. Meanwhile, hospital overcrowding, trolleys, immigration circa Kilkenny numbers annually, blah blah.

True . Going to vote for Connolly as I like her principles etc but she’s so naive on this issue. You can’t sit down and have a chat with Russia. European rearmament is the only way.

There is ‘naivety’ in Ireland that if we whine about this threat far away on the other side of the continent , the public will get distracted by this bullshit of defense spending than spending on public infrastructure, housing and healthcare.

We start walkin and talkin like we are in NATO, yea Russia might do the odd cyber or aerial interference , if we shut the fuck up about as if we are about to go to war, I doubt Russia will give a shit about an island far far away with no actual capability for them to invade

Man who can’t build houses distracts from lack of houses being built

    7. Hmmm… not to play the old whataboutism, but I would be more or at least equally worried that events in the USA are seen with naivety….

He’s right people are naive about Russia and the threat they pose to Ireland especially with Pro-Russian fools like Catherine Connolly who wants us to be neutral and not increase defence spending for our military.

There is, it’s just a shame no one is going to do anything about it
