Con le serate oscure su di noi, una nota gentile per tutti gli utenti della strada della realtà di indossare abiti scuri su bici/scooter ecc. Se questo post potesse incoraggiare anche una persona a mettere su un Hi Vis, sarebbe un successo.
Ciò non ha lo scopo di innescare alcun dibattito tra il comportamento tra gli utenti della strada, semplicemente per evidenziare la misura in cui alcuni utenti della strada non possono essere visti nemmeno con le luci delle auto dietro di loro.

I get free hi vis’ in work – keep them in the car boot for this reason – if I can stop and just give one out, I’ll do so. (It’s country roads I’m on mostly!).

In my experience…….me wearing hi viz and a bright red cycling jacket and with front and rear lights is not the panacea you think it is.
Totally agree. Not to be pedantic but for dark evenings and nights, reflective gear is much better than high visibility clothing which is more for daytime use.
I’m a cyclist and a motorist and the amount of cyclists and scooterists(?) who are near invisible is shocking. The RSA literally give this stuff out for free! Stock seems to be low now but check over the next few days.

Tell me OP how do you see dark cars in the dark?
They should have lights on them, hi vis is a situationally effective extra.
